TESDA Tarlac Technical Assistance to Tarlac City LGU

TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office Officer-in-Charge Leonardo Tabamo with Supervising Specialist Irene Taborlupa and Provincial Office staff met with Tarlac City Mayor Cristy Angeles to map out the technical assistance TESDA Tarlac may provide to Tarlac City LGU.

On 08 May 2023, Mr. Tabamo met with Mayor Angeles discussed the need for an LGU-run Technical Vocational Training Center in response to demand driven TVET at the grass roots level. Also explored were the delivery of community-based training and capability building of Community Training and Employment Coordinators (CTEC) as training managers. 

All mayors expressed enthusiasm over the idea of an LGU-run training center and requested for close coordination and assistance form the Provincial Office.
