Provision of Information on TESDA Programs via Radio
At the direction of TESDA Tarlac Officer-in-Charge Leonardo R. Tabamo, Mary Grace Occasion of PTC – Tarlac, Rico Briones of CVS, and staff from Tarlac Provincial Office joined PGT radio program host Jojo Pascual on 09 May 2023 to update on TESDA Tarlac TVET programs for 2023.
May Grace Ocasion expounded on the qualifications/courses offered by the PTC- Tarlac for training and assessment. She also elaborated on the move towards level III and higher qualifications such as Visual Graphic and Bookkeeping NC III to upskill our certified technicians.
Rico Briones on the other hand, expounded on the school-based qualifications offered by CVS and gave emphasis on their tie-ups with Higher Educational Institutions for Diploma Programs in Agricultural Technology and Hospitality Management.
Lastly, Provincial Office personnel discussed tracking of employment of certified technicians, renewal of national certificates and entry requirements for special clients during the question-and-answer portion.
The event ended with encouragement from TESDA personnel to acquire technical skills and National Certification from TESDA.
