TESDA Tarlac meets Tarlac TVI Administrators and Registrars
TARLAC CITY, Tarlac – After the program preliminaries, TESDA Tarlac Provincial Director (PD) Liza Manio welcomed and thanked the Technical Vocational Institution (TVI) administrators and registrars in attendance for their enthusiastic response to the call to meet.
PD Liza informed the audience of the presence of Information Technology (IT) experts who will later present beefed-up website features to speed up and make the delivery of public service at TESDA Tarlac more efficient.
The good PD also emphasized the need to perfect the reporting through the TESDA Training Monitoring Information System (T2MIS).
She also reminded all TVIs to ensure the documentation of all respective Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) activities and systematize the building of their portfolio.
PD Liza also eagerly shared the donation of a 5 hectare land by Capas Local Government Unit (LGU) through Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan where a TVET court will be built for TESDA Community Based Training (CBT) and Mobile Training Program Delivery (MTP).
The PD also invited the TVIs present to use the facility for their Corporate Social Responsibility Programs.
Technical Education and Skills Development Specialist (TESDS) II Neila Alibuyog discussed the latest on the use of T2MIS and the reportorial requirements emanating from the implementation of the Training for Work Scholarship and Special Training for Employment Programs.
TESDS II Orlando Yangco discussed the salient details of the 2018 compliance audit for accredited assessment centers.
Supervicing TESDS Nicolas Sacramento on the other hand, discussed the standards that will be implemented in the 2018 compliance audit for the Unified TVET Programs Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) tying it to the need to bring the TVI operations in line with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
IT experts Christian Noriel and Jake Bonus discussed the fine points of the beefed-up website focusing on the use of the Electronic-Management Information System (E-MIS) and TVI Account drop down menus.
The partners left the meeting excited to try the innovations on the TESDA Tarlac website.
