Tarlac Assessment Center Managers and Processing Officers Review Version 1 of Operations Manual for Assessment Centers
The TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office headed by Director Elizabeth DM. Manio met with the Tarlac Assessment Center Managers and Processing Officers to review the first version of the Operations Manual for Assessment Centers at Max’s Restaurant, SM Tarlac, Tarlac City, on March 7, 2019.

In her welcome remarks, PD Liza thanked the Tarlac Technical Vocational Institutions (TVI), TESDA Technical Institutions (TTI), Higher Education Institutions (HEI), State Universities and Colleges (SUC), and Local Government Units (LGU) for their tireless cooperation in 2018, and enjoined them to exert greater effort in faithfully implementing the provisions of the recently promulgated Operations Manual for Assessment Centers.
She also introduced the new Competency Assessment and Certification Focal, Rudolph John A. Zerrudo, and the first and newly designated District Managers; District 1 – Neila S. Alibuyog, District 2 – Nicolas O. Sacramento, and District 3 – Orlando R. Yangco.
The District Managers are tasked to closely coordinate and monitor the assessment process, and act as TESDA Representative during competency assessment.
The review revolved around the responsibilities of Assessment Center Managers and Processing Officers; rotation of Competency Assessors; and monthly submission of the assessor’s matrix.
The participants were also apprised on the increases in the assessment fees of various qualifications, the memo against the exaction of additional fees, and the monthly submission of CCTV footages of the conduct of assessment in CD format. During the open forum, discussions centered around protecting the sanctity of the Competency Assessment and Certification System and the difficulties encountered in the adherence to the newly shortened Process Cycle Time.
