2022 TESDA Tarlac Assessors Calibration & Moderation
In the interest of providing uniform understanding on the implementing guidelines and to sustain the integrity of the conduct of national assessment, TESDA Tarlac headed by Engr. John B. Adawey had its first 2022 Assessors Moderation and Calibration activity done last July 29, 2022 at Westwood Farm Events & Accommodation, Tarlac City.
The said activity was participated by One Hundred Five (105) Accredited Competency Assessors in this Province from Department of Education, private and public TVET providers which includes our TTIs.
TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office Competency Assessment and Certification, CAC Focal Ms. Rezzel B. Aquino, thoroughly discuss the agenda of the activity as well as the Reiteration of Issuances under PTCACS.
TESDA Resource Speaker Engr. Alvin T. Castro, VIS of PTC- Tarlac, presented and discussed the process of conducting the assessment and the duties and responsibilities of an assessor.
The purpose of the moderation is to provide baseline information in the conduct of assessment activities and to have a shared understanding of the detailed activities to be undertaken in the conduct of competency. Another reason for the conduct of the activity is to tackle and clarify issues and concerns relative to the procedures of competency assessment.
