2022 Provincial Skills Competition -Tarlac
TESDA Tarlac held its 2022 Provincial Skills Competition (PSC) on 23 – 24 June 2022 for 13 qualifications conducted at participating Tarlac Technical Vocational Institutions (TVI) and TESDA Administered Training Centers.
At the opening ceremony held at Bulwagan ng Kanlahi, Region III Director Atty. Balmyrson M. Valdez acknowledged the accomplishments of the past competitors and their contributions in making Region III a constant contender in the World Skills Competition the last five years.
Tarlac Provincial Director Engr. John B. Adawey then formally declared the competition open after thanking the partner TVIs for their enthusiastic support of the endeavor.
The cutting of the ceremonial chain was presided by RD Valdez, assisted by PD Adawey, Unified TVI’s of Tarlac Inc. President Bishop Mario Gaña, and Tarlac 2022 PSC Chair Dr. Luisito de Jesus.
After the opening program and the meeting between expert and administrators to reiterate the guidelines, the participants and their supporting TVIs were endorsed to their respective competition venue.
Various TVIs participated in different trade areas during the competition such as Automotive Technology, Cooking, Electrical Installation, Graphic Design Technology, Patisserie and Confectionery, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Restaurant Services, Web Technologies, Bakery, Welding, Floristry, Mechanical CAD and IT Software Solution.
After the much contested competition which lasted until 27 June 2022, the following earned their medals and will represent Tarlac to the upcoming Regional Skills Competition.
