Tesda Tarlac Conducts Assessment Center Managers and Assessors’ Calibration/moderation
SAN MIGUEL, Tarlac City – Tesda Tarlac Provincial Office headed by Provincial Director Elizabeth DM. Manio led the Tarlac Assessment Centers (ACs) Managers and Assessors’ Calibration/Moderation Forum on 04 February 2020 held at Max’s Restaurant, Luisita Business Park, San Miguel, Tarlac City, Tarlac.
Director Manio warmly welcomed all the participants for their presence and thanked them for their utmost supports involving the Competency Assessment and Certification (CAC) Process.
The program commenced through the oath taking of all assessors/trainers led by Mr. Marnie Q. Diamse, the president of the TESDA Tarlac Trainers and Assessors’Association.
Provincial Director Melanie Grace T. Romero of TESDA Aurora, the first resource speaker, explained the pivotal role of all key players following the Amended Omnibus Guidelines on Program Registration under the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) by creating a conducive environment responsive to the TESDA clients and to adhere with meritorious determination on the conduct of the competency assessment from day one (1) up to the issuance of National Certificate. She also construed the comprehensive review/evaluation of responsibilities of all the managers and assessors in line with the competency assessment based on the operations manual for ACs. Senior TESD Specialist Maria Edita D. Hernandez, Focal Person of CAC Region III, the second resource speaker, laid down the important requirements and procedures of the ACs accreditation of assessors. Ms. Hernandez emphasized to the ACs managers and assessors their role as instruments of change in the society and to continuously maintain the principles and high-standards in skills development of the Province.
