Provision of Information on TESDA Programs on DZTC 828 khz AM Radio
TESDA Tarlac Senior TESD Specialist (SrTESDS) Rudolph John A. Zerrudo, Concepcion Vocational School Administrator (VSA) Consolacion A. Talisik, Ed. D., CVS Vocational Instruction Supervisor (VIS) Rico D. Briones, Provincial Training Center – Tarlac TESD Specialist II Mary Grace L. Occasion Ed. D., and Job Order Technical Service Provider Gerardo G. Gomez, at the behest of Provincial Director John B. Adawey conducted a live broadcast of TESDA Programs over DZTC 828 kHz AM Radio at 7:00-8:00 AM on June 06, 2022.
The broadcast was hosted by Mr. Jerry Hernandez, Information Officer III of the Sanguniang Panlunsod ng Tarlac Office. At the TESDA portion of the broadcast, Mr. Zerrudo gave an overall view of Center Based, School Based, Community Based, Enterprise Based, and Scholarship Programs. He also mentioned the importance of being a certified technician.
Meanwhile, Dr. Occasion expounded on the qualifications/courses offered by the PTC- Tarlac for training and assessment. She also elaborated on the enterprise-based programs and their modalities and the concurrent community-based training at Anao, Tarlac in Rice Machinery Operation.
Dr. Talisik and VIS Briones expounded on the school-based qualifications offered by CVS and gave emphasis on their compliance to the mantra “Abot Lahat” through their outreach programs.
The employability of certified technicians was also tackled during the messaging question portion, as well as the mechanism on applying for group training under the community-based training.
Also elaborated were scholars’ benefits including the PHP 160/day Training Support Fund, PHP 500 Internet Allowance, PHP 500 Personal Protective Allowance, and PHP 500 Uniform Allowance.
The event ended with encouragement from TESDA personnel to acquire technical skills and National Certification from TESDA.
