DDG Quisumbing visits IPS Scholars in Tarlac!

DDG Gabriel Luis R. Quisumbing for Communities and Local Government Unit Services visits the Indigenous Peoples’ trainees of the on-going PRLEC project as part of the monitoring progress in Sitio Paquillao, Barangay Care, Tarlac City.
Present are Provincial Director John B. Adawey, Provincial Executive Assistant Holden N. Sembrano of Provincial Government of Tarlac, Ms. Maria Lira U. Reyes of Tarlac Center for Learning and Skills Success and OIC- Administrator Lerma P. Lorente of Concepcion Vocational School as the training provider. This program is a convergence partnership from different National Government Agencies together with the Provincial Government of Tarlac and Rotary Club of Midtown Tarlac that seeks to secure the income-generating livelihood and provides support services to identified marginalized sector in the area.
TESDA Tarlac as the lead implementing agency in the provision of trainings has already started for the forty (40) beneficiaries who are all from the Paquillao Aeta Native Abelling Tribal community.
Twenty (20) of them are in the midst of trainings for Agricultural Crops Production NC II and the remaining twenty (20) are on the Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken) NC II.
