TESDA Tarlac Confers with SMEDC – Tarlac
TARLAC, Tarlac City – TESDA Tarlac Provincial Director Ben-Hur B. Baniqued conferred with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council – Tarlac (SMEDC) officers and members at the Tarlac College of Agriculture (TCA) Dining Hall.
The conference was presided by Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Tarlac (PCCI) Chair Alvin Belarmino with the Department of Trade and Industry – Tarlac (DTI) headed by their indefatigable Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez providing secretariat assistance.
After the preliminaries, DTI informed the body of following SMEDC 2016 1st quarter accomplishments: Food Safety Seminars, Technology Transfers, and Entrepreneurial Trainings.
PCCI Chair Belarmino updated the conferees with how the bamboo project at the TCA manage site at Mayantoc, Tarlac are thriving well which encouraged the body to resolve to double their effort in the greening project.
Chair Alvin also informed the body that there will be a one day entrepreneurship seminar entitled, “Helping MSMEs Do Business On Line” at the Bulwagan ng mga Gobernador, Kapitolyo ng Tarlac on May 25, 2016.
The lecturer cum workshop, according their flyer, is organized by online commerce advocate DigitalFilipino.com.
The flyer claims that participants will: Have access to big online markets like LAZADA; Be able to accept electronic payments; Make secure deliveries to customers; and Operate an online store for free.
