Tesda Tarlac Celebrates Cooking Excellence with Chef Logro
TARLAC CITY, Tarlac – Tesda Tarlac Provincial Director Liza Manio was the guest of honor in the recently concluded “Kusina Master Chef Boy Logro Cooks with Tarlaqueños” sponsored by PAHETI at the City Mall Tarlac last December 13, 2017.
The gracious TESDA Director enthusiastically shared her passion for healthy food and expressed great admiration for Chef Boy’s advocacy in raising the level of degustation among Filipinos.
The country’s premier celebrity chef on the other hand, regaled the audience with tales of his personal war against poverty and the values that took him to the peak of his craft.
The audience, while listening to the harrowing experience of Chef Boy’s early years appeared moved to tears, which was not lost to the Chef who took the opportunity to remind the young chefs to use the hardships in their life as fuel to reach their dreams.
Talented Chefs form various culinary schools and restaurants next, displayed their prowess in giving traditional Kapampangan dishes their own twist to the delight of all who tasted their creations.
Chef Boy then demonstrated his own condominium version of sisig using fried pork belly which skin was separately fried crisp to retain the crunch which sisig patrons looked for in the signature dish.
