TESDA Tarlac 2016 Assessor’s Forum
July 18, 2016
Hua Chan Restaurant, Tarlac City – TESDA Tarlac organized an assessors forum at the Huat Chan Tea House, McArthur Highway, Tarlac City on July 18, 2016 to remind the assessors on the need to reaffirm the sanctity of the assessment process.
The assessment process serves as the gateway to certification. Hence the need for an almost fanatical adherence to the standards set by the Training Regulations.
During the forum, TESDA Tarlac Provincial Office Assessment Focal Roland Yanco oriented the assessors present on the fine points of the recently promulgated Training Regulations.
Assessors also were given the opportunity to share their insights on the rigors of the process and the challenges they encountered in their struggle to uphold their sworn duty as assessors.
Center Administrators and Assessment Center Managers were also there to lend clarifications to questions raised and remind the assessors not just to limit themselves by the book, but be mindful of the larger realities currently evolving in the international arena.
TESDA Tarlac Provincial Director Ben-Hur B. Baniqued rounded the forum with his assurance of support for those who adhere faithfully to their oath and in the same breath hinted of sanctions forthcoming to those who sullied one of the major pillars of TESDA.
