Project HOPE graduation
TARLAC CITY, DIWA NG TARLAC – On February 17, 2017, the Eduardo Cojuangco Foundation (ECF) who sponsored the PROJECT HOPE Scholarship Program in partnership with the Provincial Government of Tarlac, TESDA, DOLE, DepED and the different Local Government Units (LGU) have conducted the Graduation Rites for the second batch of trainees from different municipalities of Tarlac who were given the privilege of the said scholarship.
The Honorable guests who attended the event are Mr. Noel T. Alconcel of the Eduardo Cojuanco Foundation, Hon. Susan A. Yap, Hon. Carlito “CASADA” David and Hon. Victor A. Yap of the Provincial Government of Tarlac, Dr. Noel Linsao of the Department of Education(DepEd), Mr. Efren M. Reyes of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Tarlac, Mr. Nicolas O. Sacramento of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Hon. Betty Lacbayan – Mayor of Anao and Hon. Diosdado Reginaldo – Mayor of Ramos. Engr. Pepito V. Suba, Senior TESD Specialist, present the 557 graduates of PROJECT HOPE who are then confirmed by Mr. Nicolas O. Sacramento, the Supervising TESD Specialist of TESDA.
A short inspirational message is given by Hon. Susan A. Yap and is then followed by Hon. Victor A. Yap. To testify to the advantages and the enormous help given to those who, despite the inability to attain higher education were given the chance for a better future by PROJECT HOPE, two trainees gives out their testimony and their greatest gratitude of being part of the scholarship and hopes that there would be more people who will be able to experience the same privilege as they have.
The program then concluded with the distribution of the free Start-Up Tool Kits to the different LGUs sponsored by the Eduardo Cojuangco Foundation.
